Exciting Changes to Common Room Spaces at Barnstaple Campus
We are delighted to announce new common room locations for Level 3 students and University Centre students, providing more spaces to relax, recharge, and socialise between lessons.
In a fantastic development, the SWIOT (South West Institute of Technology) building, previously home to the University Centre, will now be open to all Level 3 students. This modern space offers a comfortable environment for students to unwind and connect with peers between lessons.
Meanwhile, COTIE, originally designed to support local start-ups and businesses but not previously accessible to students, will now serve as a common room for University Centre students. This change allows students to enjoy a dedicated space for both relaxation and study, with hopes to further integrate COTIE鈥檚 business facilities in the future if the initiative proves successful.
These changes mark a significant step forward, ensuring that all students have access to the spaces and resources they need to thrive. We鈥檙e excited to see these vibrant areas come to life and welcome all students to make the most of these new facilities.
Here鈥檚 to a brilliant 2025, filled with opportunities for growth and connection!
